David and Betty Frankovich are the owner/operators of Pickerel Creek Camp, and have been since 2003. As a young man David and his father started taking trips to Pickerel Creek Camp. After college and a few jobs the passion was still so great for David that he bought Pickerel Creek Camp from the people he had known for 15 years. Betty as a child took family vacations to go fishing in Ontario for over 20 years. Together their knowledge, love of the outdoors and making people feel comfortable is unrivaled.

Pickerel Creek Camp was originally established in 1966. We are located in the middle of some of the best fresh water fishing, hunting and picturesque scenery in the world. Not only do people fish and hunt but many of our guests come to take photographs, hike, pick blueberries and even look for shed antlers from deer and moose. David’s expertise of fishing, hunting, and the outdoors in general give the guest an extra “lure in the box”, so to speak with tips, tactics, and where abouts of desired fish and game.

Repeat business is their strength and pride. Being a customer for over 35 years combined, David and Betty know how to treat their guest’s right. If you are planning a trip to NW Ontario to take advantage of the numerous opportunities, David and Betty will make sure your time in the north woods is spectacular.
